Easter Egg Hunt

We had a fun Easter Egg hunt this afternoon before our traditional ham dinner. Ellie didn't miss a beat picking up her eggs and placing them carefully in her basket! The weather was absolutely perfect as well! The last picture of this set is my favorite. We were all eating dinner and suddenly I realized that I hadn't heard from Ellie in a little while. So I started walking around looking for her. I found her in Maddie's Easter Basket opening the eggs and eating the Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, tin foil wrapping and all. Aw, a girl after my own heart!

Happy Easter!

We have had a wonderful Easter Weekend! Yesterday Maddie & I dyed our traditional hard boiled eggs. Later on in the evening we made these wonderful sugar eggs that are pictured. They are so much fun to make, and especially for someone who is not artistic like me because even I can't ruin them! The girls were adorable in their dresses, but I haven't managed to get a good picture of that yet. Maybe tonight at dinner...

Overalls

Mark loves having Ellie in overalls so he can carry her around like this. Strangely enough Ellie loves it.

Daddy's Little Girl

Ellie is an absolute Daddy's Little Girl. Here are a few pictures of the two of them.

Bike Riding

We are already having bike-riding weather in Phoenix! Don't worry, when it's 100 degrees next month nobody will be feeling bad for me! We bought Maddie a new bike and she rode away like a champ. The only problem was Ellie. She felt like she should have a new bike as well. As you can tell from the pictures Mark spent quite a bit of time "holding" her on Maddie's new bike.

Ellie will TRULY eat anything!

Ellie got some new molars this last month. She has really been using them on a variety of foods. Her favorite is steamed broccoli and carrots. This last week she thought she would try eating a rock to see how that would taste. I had no idea that she had ingested it until I found it in her diaper. Let me tell you it was so shocking! Needless to say, Ellie gave us an excellent preview of what she is capable of. Grandpa Jeff could not be more proud of his granddaughter and her love of rocks! Here are a few pictures of that sweet little baby. Notice how enormous the rock is.

Locks of Love

This week Maddie decided she wanted to donate her hair to Locks of Love. She donated a total of 11 inches of her beautiful hair! We were so proud of her and think she looks so adorable with her new short haircut!
